the National Palace of Culture (NPC) - Congress Centre Sofia.

FIG Working Week runs from Monday 18 – Wednesday 20 May 2015.
In conjunction with the conference we have the FIG General Assembly:
Conference Programme
Located in 11 session rooms, the 3-day working week program offers many different and interesting topics covering the entire broadness of the surveying profession.
Altogether FIG Working Week will gather more than 400 highly qualified national and international speakers from all disciplines within the surveying, geospatial, natural and built environment professions.
Each day invited international recognized experts will deal with topics within the overall theme of the congress “From the Wisdom of the Ages to the Challenges of the Modern World”.
The three plenary sessions that will cover:
Day 1: The surveyors’ response to changing the city management
Day 2: The surveyors’ response to pro-growth land management
Mr. Ionut Savoiu, member of Parliament in Romania and former Managing Director of Blom, Romania
Day 3: Global and Regional Professional and Institutional reforms
